Up until now, I’ve had a hard time figuring out what really makes a man to approach, woo and keep a lady… so I decided to do some research on the matter.

We all know that men are visual creatures, so one would assume a guy's initial attraction will most certainly be dominated by a lady's obvious physical traits and not the ones hidden beneath her shiny exterior.

I personally surveyed 50 men aged between 28 and 40 both married and single, to determine the answers to all these burning questions (but I’ll publish just 17 random responses). So, I’m pleased to share with you some expert thoughts on the subject…I knew I’d get some interesting feedback, and they did not disappoint.

What really attracts a man? Let’s hear it from the guys… (In their exact words)

(1)           Tunde (UK): Good sense of humor, creative, smiles a lot, curvy, and most importantly fear of God. Intelligence too, and honesty with trust.

(2)         Dami (PORT/H): My ideal woman should have (be): strong character, inspiring, share my dreams, share my religious beliefs, good both in bed and in the kitchen. This is so because I've grown to b a strong willed man and a go-getter.

(3)         Steve (PORT/H): ‎​For me, its Companionship, compatibility, Intelligence, Charisma and Faithfulness

(4)         Slimjay (IBADAN): Average height----round boobs--not to big...big ass (Hips) and flat tommy. ‎​She must be homely. ‎​Accommodating

3.  Am attracted to the woman who holds her home as her Citadel and her Boo as her knight in shining armour. Nothing unlocks the chilvary in a man as when he knows that she trusts him to protect her.

4. I am attracted to a woman who knows how to respect and honour a man and by her loveliness subdues him.

5.     A woman who is peaceful and teachable, someone who is willing to learn and grow; someone who is not satisfied with “good enough”, a woman who desires to become a better person every moment of her life.

6.    A woman who is adventurous, a risk-lover, a spontaneous and “unpredictable person”; someone who sees my personal growth/business endeavors/sexual life/relationship and even life itself as an adventure and who is ready to ride with me even when the road is bumpy and the future looks bleak.
